Müller-Cohen, Anita
(1890-1962)
   Austrian social worker. She was born in Vienna. She served as a relief worker in Galicia and Bukovina during World War I. She established hospitals for mothers, day nurseries, medical services for children, and insti-tutions for the care of the aged. After the war she helped returning soldiers to readjust to civilian life and established milk stations for undernourished children in Austria. She also directed the placement of orphans in Jewish homes. In 1936 she settled in Tel Aviv.
